VOCABULARY : Square, triangle, rectangle, circle
CONTENT STANDARD:
By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to :
1. 1. pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation
2. 2 demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning.
LEARNING STANDARDS:
1.1.4 Able to talk about a stimulus with guidance.
2.2.1 Able to read and apply word recognition and word attack skills by matching words with:
a) graphics
b) spoken words
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Pupils should be able to:
1) Name the shapes of objects shown to them
2) Create shapes in groups
3) Match the words to the correct shapes
4) Solve a jigsaw puzzle

1.2 Analysis ( 10 minutes) CREATIVITY IMPLEMENTATION INDICATORS 1.2.2-Mengasingkan maklumat berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. 1.2.3-Mengumpul maklumat berdasarkan upperwa tertentu. | 1.Teacher asks pupils to go through the objects . 2. Teacher calls out a few pupils to group the objects. Questions posed by the teacher: a) Can we group the objects together? b) Which objects can be grouped together? c) Why we group objects in group 1 together? d) What are the similarities of objects grouped together? | 1. Pupils look and touch the objects. 2. Pupils group the objects in four groups.

Teacher explains about shapes and provides a few objects as examples. Questions posed by the teacher: a) Give a few examples of objects which has the shapes of triangle,square, rectangle and circle? | 1. 2.2 Synthesizing Idea (10 minutes) CREATIVITY IMPLEMENTATION INDICATOR 2.2.2- Menghasilkan bentuk komunikasi yang unik - lukisan, kraf,binaan, peta, rajah,puisi,muzik,lagu,karangan,laporan dan lakaran. | 1.Teacher divides the pupils into a few groups, 6 members in group. Questions posed by the teacher: a) Form a shape by working in groups. | 1.Pupils work in their groups to form shapes. 2. Pupils cooperate with each other in the group to form shapes. | |||||||||||

Questions posed by the teacher: a)Find and match the words to the pictures of shapes. | 1. 4. Action Phase 4.1 Implementation (5 minutes) CREATIVITY IMPLEMENTATION INDICATOR 4.1.2-Menyusun idea secara tersusun dan mudah difahami. | 1.Teacher gives a jigsaw puzzle to pupils. 2. Teacher instructs pupils to work in pairs to solve the puzzle. Questions posed by the teacher: a) Solve the jigsaw puzzle ? b) Name the shape in the puzzle? | 1.Pupils solve the puzzle in pairs. | |||||||||||
4.2 Continuous Implementation (5 minutes) CREATIVITY IMPLEMENTATION INDICATOR 4.2.1 – Peka kepada perkara di sekeliling. | 1.Teacher shows a toy bus which has all the shapes on it. 2. Teacher asks pupils to identify the shapes on the toy bus. Questions posed by the teacher: a) What is this? b) What can you see on this object? c) Point and name the shapes that you can see on the bus? |
